Amy Abattoir attended her foundation year of art school at Parsons School of Design, Paris, France in 1988, and is otherwise self taught, painting occasionally at the Art Student's League of New York from 1998-2001. She has lived in various American and European locations and worked in the fashion industry for 15 years, designing and manufacturing garments in Los Angeles and New York. She currently resides in central Pennsylvania painting and raising her three children, Violet Morning Bell, Atticus Wolf Bell, and Vivian Honoree Bell with her husband, Burton C. Bell.
